Specially created for the Man Hippie!! Though I do love and use this one myself too.
Probiotic Deodorant, finally a natural deodorant that actually works and works better than chemical deodorant.
The theory behind Probiotic Deodorant is that it works to increase the good bacteria, just like probiotics do for tummies. Increasing the good bacteria fights the bad smelly bacteria, you are working with your body, not against it. Contained in each deodorant is a good dose of high quality, shelf-stable, probiotic.
The deo also has Virgin Organic Coconut Oil and Organic Baking Soda which are both anti-bacterial. Triple whammy!
The other ingredients are Organic Shea butter, Organic Cocoa Butter, Organic Beeswax and Organic Tapioca Flour, they do an important role, in helping it be the fantastic hard (but not too hard) consistency and the Cocoa Butter helps it smell divine!
The jar is a slightly softer version
Virgin Organic Coconut Oil, Organic Shea Butter, Organic Cocoa Butter, Organic Beeswax, Organic Tapioca Flour, Organic Baking Soda.
Essential Oils: Cypress, Black Pepper, Lemongrass.
The Cardboard is a push-up tube (it can be a little tricky to push up for a start, may need to warm with hands, and careful not to push it up too far as it cant go back down but worth those wee quirks for the sake of the earth :)
You can now choose a refill option for the jars, please note these are currently made to order and there will be a wait for these.
Bloody awesome product. Great lemongrass smell. Work's well 👍
Didn't like it, extremely hard to push up despite warming it first, very sticky and was like putting on dry-ish soap. Too expensive for what it was.
I bought this for my partner as he likes to use my deodorant(sexy hippie) and I love the smell its lemongrassy and fresh. I had to try it myself. Both of us agree that it works great and we will continue to use these deodorant's. :)
I bought the 70g glass jar. I found this product to be:
a) really nice smell, not cloying or overpowering like store deodorants
b) difficult to extract from the jar and that made it hard to use It is always difficult to get the product soft enough to get some on your fingers to spread around. That's with a full jar so I imagine it will be almost impossible as the (very small) jar starts to get empty.
c) not very effective as a deodorant I found that it didn't work well using the suggested small amount. Given the problems extracting it from the jar, I couldn't try to increase how much I used easily.
d) considering the above points, too expensive $21 for a jar of product that's hard to use and not terribly effective as a deodorant.
I really wanted to like your product but I am not a convert. Yet. Maybe the cardboard tubes work better. Perhaps if the product could be manufactured as a softer mix so it doesn't set so hard, it might be easier to extract and spread. But in its current form and packaging its terrible.
