Samples come in paper for the most zero waste way of packaging, this is not meant for long-term storage just for trying so please do not store long-term as they will eventually leak out of the packaging.
The active Sunscreen ingredient is non-nano Zinc Oxide, this creates a physical barrier on the skin and does not enter the bloodstream like Zinc which has been nano-ised. Non-nano Zinc is the only recommended safe broad-spectrum Sunscreen ingredient.
This Sunscreen is HUMAN tested not LAB tested therefore I cannot specify an exact SPF.
I like this product for its natural ingredients, environmentally friendly packaging and great smell. However, I find it very oily and a little unpractical for my lifestyle. I spend a lot of time working in the sun and I have to apply a good amount of sun cream daily. I therefore find the Cancer Society sun cream to be the best option for now because it has a dry feel and lasts longer. On another note, I would love to see an spf rating as well ;)
Love the product! Only thing I would like to see is an spf rating :)
Goes on once and smooth and most importantly doesn't make my face white.
Not tested on animals , Also I recently discovered most commercial sunscreens have a substance in it that reeks havoc on Coral Reefs
This is great for sensitive skin. It is very moisturizing, not sure how effective SPF is - I cover up pretty good and havent used it in NZ summer yet. It does make your skin look a bit white, but ok with that being a natural product. Ka pai.
I got the big jar this time! Tried a while back and really liked it so I finally got around to buying some more. I use on my face on a daily basis :)
