Probiotic Deodorant, finally a natural deodorant that actually works and works better than chemical deodorant.

The theory behind Probiotic Deodorant is that it works to increase the good bacteria, just like probiotics do for tummies. Increasing the good bacteria fights the bad smelly bacteria, you are working with your body, not against it. Contained in each deodorant is a good dose of high quality, shelf-stable, probiotic.
The Deo also has Virgin Organic Coconut Oil and Organic Baking Soda which are both anti-bacterial. Triple whammy!
The other ingredients are Organic Shea butter, Organic Cocoa Butter, Organic Beeswax and Organic Tapioca Flour, they play an important role, in helping it be the fantastic hard (but not too hard) consistency to make the deo work as a stick. The jar is a slightly softer version.
Essential Oil's: Lavender, Lemon, Patchouli & Bergamot.  An uplifting blend.

The Cardboard is a push-up tube (it can be a little tricky to push up for a start, helps to warm it with your hands, and careful not to push it up too far as it cant go back down but worth those wee quirks for the sake of the earth :)

The best deodorant ever

I've been using this for a few years now, and I find it more effective than even toxic commercial brands I've used in the past - and definitely more effective than any other natural products I've used. I do find I react to it if I use it more than once a day (throughout pregnancy and post-partum I tend to get very sweaty and smelly, even overnight, so using a deodorant even for bed has been necessary). I went through a stage of having painful rashes under my arms when using this twice a day, BUT that has completely stopped since I switched to using a more gentle, less effective product overnight, and this during the day when I needed it the most. I've used it totally irritation-free for about 2 years like that. I just wanted to say that if you love how it works but react to it, don't give up too soon! It might just be finding the right balance for your body.

Great natural deodorant with lovely scents

Finding a good natural deodorant that works and smells good (or is unscented) is the bane of my existence (I have researched and trialed MANY from NZ and overseas!). Discovering Dirty Hippie has been fabulous. I love this product and while I generally prefer to go for unscented (and yes they have one) their scented ones are beautiful, with natural essential oils in the kind of blends that I'd choose myself so now I have both. I find the cream does mark my white singlets but it washes out. Thank you for this lovely product!

Absolutly the best natural deodorant ever! Actually works (and iv tried a few to know), amazing scents and doesnt make under your armpits feel wet. 6 out of 5 stars i will absolutly be odering more
