Vegetarian Shampoo Bars

I bought this so I could try out the various scents and types of shampoo bars before commiting to an entire bar as I have curly so don’t want anything that will dry it out further or make it look greasy like some bars can do. I’m still working my way through them but i’m enjoying the selection and have found that the ones I’ve used so far have been fairly well suited to my hair, especially as I do not use a conditioner.

Love the shampoo bars but the conditioner leaves my hair oily and pasty, it’s very hard to get out even if you just use a little.... I love that’s it’s natural and doesn’t use plastic though...

Def give it a try !

Great pack to give u a taster of which suits u best

I am enjoying using the differing ones. They last for ages and smell great!

OK but expensive

So far I have tested only two bars, almost exclusively as hair rather than body wash, and both are pleasant to use and seem to give good results, but overall the system seems expensive compared to conventional soaps and shampoos. A large bottle of shampoo compares favourably in cost to a single bar, lasts a lot longer, and the bottle is recyclable. As I tend to buy fewer than 5 bottles a year now I don't think the total impact on the environment justifies the significant increase in cost. We take other measures to decrease our carbon footprint. For example our car usage is less than half what it was a year ago. We walk and bus wherever possible. I think that alone has a somewhat greater benefit than switching to your shampoos.

Hi Paul, oh I hear you on making choices and well done on your lower car usage.
Fully your decision to use bars or bottled shampoo, we're all just trying to do the best in the ways we can and you absolutely have to weigh up what is the best option for you.
I won't get too far into the recycling debate but unfortunately a lot of plastic gets dumped rather than recycled even if you think you are doing the right thing as it can be more costly to recycle than produce new.
I also hear you on the cost difference. I wish I could charge the same price as a bottle of factory made shampoo but there is a huge difference in the production as I personally hand make each shampoo bar with my own hands, no machines. I also use almost all organic ingredients, and all high quality ingredients so I will never be able to charge the same.
All the best Paul :)
